Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Selected Candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design and engineering portion as it relates to the client’s project. Candidate will have minimum 7 years experience, College Degree BSME. Practical work experience in the design of piping and mechanical components in heavy industrial environments such the oil refinery, steel manufacturing or power plant industries needed.  Particular knowledge and expereince in stress analysis an added plus.  Knowledge of Ceasar II and/or Algor applications needed.

Core Requirements:

• Handle projects in all areas of mechanical engineering including conceptual design to installation engineering services, estimating, equipment specification, detailed design, equipment inspection, field installation, and start-ups inclusive of client interaction.
• Prepare equipment installation drawing, facility modification drawings, equipment purchase specifications and installation specifications.
• Perform process flow diagram mapping manual and CAD drafting.
• Posses the ability to check project documents in accordance with national and client standards.
• Potentially lead project team in the planning, scheduling, engineering and design execution of the projects from start to finish.
• Assist junior engineers with the work.
• Understand applicable code and industry standards.
• Ability to perform calculations for stress analysis.
• Conversant in use of computer programs such as Excel, AutoCad, Cad Pipe 3D, Cloudworks, Caesar II, AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow and AlGore.

IN/IL PE license an added plus.
