Process Chemical Engineer

Job Description:

Chemical engineers conduct process engineering efforts that range from conceptual front-end engineering design studies to detailed engineering projects, and additionally provide technical support for construction and start-up, all to meet our clients’ specific needs. Responsibilities include: process simulation; developing heat and material balances; developing PFDs; developing P&IDs; equipment rating, design, and specification; relief system rating and design; working with equipment vendors; and working with EPC project teams. Project assignments will involve travel to client locations in the mid-west region and field exposure to refining, chemical, industrial, and institutional operating facilities.

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical engineering
• PE License Preferred
• 7 -10 years of industry experience
• Knowledge and application of a disciplined project management process
• Ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines
• Ability to quickly grasp multiple process technologies
• Ability to plan, execute, and complete process engineering assignments
