One of the Midwest’s biggest suppliers of industrial and specialty gas had a big problem: Their monorail crane system was failing to meet operational demands. Superior Engineering (S/E) was contracted to analyze the system and provide a solution.
The process began with an in-depth field study of the existing equipment including load capacities, connection details and safety protocol. The data was then examined alongside industry compliance codes and company standards to recommend modifications to the crane system. After completing the suggested improvements, all crane systems were labeled, and the client was provided with detailed documentation that included safe working loads, inspection schedules and operational protocols.
