Athletic Field Expansion

Superior Engineering (S/E) provided a new athletic field house building for a K-12 School Corporation in Lake County, Indiana. This included improving the arrangement and overall lighting for the football field, along with the track and field area. A new scoreboard was also provided, including all related electrical, civil & structural services. This design-build project was awarded to S/E to simplify contract execution and accommodate this schedule-driven project.

 The pre-engineered building was selected to facilitate the concessions area, along with storage and locker room facilities and was the centerpiece for this project. Work included the site layout, arrangement drawings, building design, electrical upgrades including emergency power and transfer switches, power distribution, utility infrastructure, and storm water modifications and management. S/E was responsible for all drawings and technical specifications, as well as all construction activities.
