Superior Engineering (S/E) provided engineering services to a major Chicago university to extend their main campus chilled water supply piping. The project scope included the extension of the chilled water lines, a compressed air line, and four information technology conduits.
Deliverables included: contractor scope of work description and specifications, a site logistic plan, plan drawings, details, sections and elevation and profile drawings, pipe and valve schedules, a City of Chicago Right of Way permit, and record drawings.
S/E provided site drawings with appropriate details to illustrate the path for the water line extension. This approach highlighted landscape and hardscape - including buildings, walkways, stairs, roads, monuments, trees, shrubs, underground water retention, other utilities and access. Site drawings identified complete city and public utilities, sections at street crossings and provided documentation to obtain City of Chicago Right of Way permits.
