When the client approached us, they were seeking a complete set of mechanical and electrical plans for a new medical facility within their network. The mechanical designs included typical duct, fan, damper and diffuser sizing, along with riser locations. For the electrical plans, S/E included VFD’s, exhaust & circulation fans, ED critical rooms, lights, and unique electrical provisions for critical care units. In addition, we implemented additional VFD’s and controllers for negative pressure isolation rooms.
To complete the package, a comprehensive equipment installation schedule and bill of materials was also included. Together with drawings that were sealed by a Professional Engineer, this health care provider had everything necessary to move forward with their facility expansion.
